Another method commonly used in the field is to extend the cylinder in place to ensure that the cylinder does not have any load and will not retract (to prevent the cylinder from internal leakage accidents), turn off the machine, and then remove the tubing with the rod cavity, and then press the switch that pulls out the cylinder (do not press the wrong switch).
